This was presumably intentional, referencing the animation color errors in 1930's cartoons. Chips is seen with four blue poker chips during the battle, but an error during his death screen depicts him with six blue poker chips. His eyes are shown to be on separate chips and are crossed as he extends his tongue out. When Chips is defeated, he moans in pain, he loses his body (the yellow and red poker chips) as the chips fly away, his head drops and falls apart, and his hat fall like a leaf. It is not recommended to try to attack Chips during his own attacks. Shooting at any other part of his body will block most bullets. In order to hurt Chips, you must shoot at his head (the blue poker chips). In Expert Mode, Chips attacks more rapidly and the chip stacks start moving with less delay. Hitpoints = 450/575 Intro īefore his battle begins, King Dice stacks Chips Bettigan up piece by piece to send him into the fray.Ĭhips floats up and travels from one side to another by moving pieces of his body to damage the player. He is a very persuasive being who seems to enjoy fighting, as evidenced by the shouting of 'All Right!' and 'Yeehaw!' He also enjoys talking tough, as evidenced by his death screen. Chips Bettigan is rowdy, charming, and never one to accept the idea that the odds are stacked against him.
